Soutien aux Personnes Déplacées dû à la Guerre au Liban

Aujourd’hui au Liban suite à deux mois de bombardements intensifs et un cessez-le-feu qui malheureusement ne fait pas arrêter la guerre ni l'occupation, environ un million de personnes (soit près de 20 % de la population résidente) sont encore déplacées de leurs foyers et de leurs villages, et nombre de ces familles et individus sont hébergés dans des centres d’accueil pour déplacés à travers le pays.

La société civile et la communauté libanaise se sont fortement mobilisées pour soutenir ces personnes affectées. Néanmoins, en raison de l’occupation toujours en cours, de nombreux centres d’accueil ont besoin de soutien pour pouvoir continuer à répondre aux besoins des personnes qu’ils hébergent.

Ainsi, Ana Khayyak – Roy Hamouche fait appel à ses membres, à sa communauté et à ses amis pour rassembler des ressources matérielles et répondre à l’appel de la vie d’être aux côtés de nos frères et sœurs affectés, non seulement en esprit, mais aussi matériellement. Bien que donner leur apporte un soutien matériel et émotionnel considérable (et leur permet d’y puiser force, courage et espoir), en répondant à l’appel de donner nous recevons nous-mêmes la grâce de la possibilité de nous connecter aux valeurs d’amour, d’espoir et de fraternité face à la haine, au désespoir et à la division.

Compte tenu de nos ressources, nous soutiendrons trois centres d’accueil pour déplacés dans la région de Beyrouth, situés à : Forn El Chebbak, Basta et Verdun. Les besoins identifiés par ces centres comprennent des rations alimentaires pour les familles, des fournitures scolaires pour les enfants déplacés suivant un enseignement à distance, ainsi que des médicaments pour les personnes atteintes de maladies chroniques. Étant donné que les besoins évoluent constamment en fonction de la situation, nous adapterons également notre soutien en conséquence.

Nous avons fixé un objectif initial de 3,000 € pour lancer notre initiative.

Nous accueillerons avec gratitude tout soutien, quel que soit son montant, et nous nous engageons à le transmettre avec amour et tendresse.

Today in Lebanon following 2 months of intensive bombings and a cease-fire that unfortunately does not put an end to the war nor the occupation, around one million people (about 20% of the residing population) are still displaced from their homes and villages, and many of these families and individuals are sheltered in displacement centers across the country.

Civil society and the Lebanese community have mobilized strongly to support these impacted persons, and yet with the still ongoing occupation, there are numerous displacement centers that are in need of support to provision themselves to continue serving the persons they are hosting.

Hence, Ana Khayyak - Roy Hamouche is reaching out to its members, broader community and friends to pull material resources and answer Life’s call to be near to our impacted brothers and sisters, not only in spirit, but materially as well. While giving is of great support to them materially and emotionally (and they are able to draw strength, courage and hope from it), in accepting the call to give we ourselves are also profoundly blessed with the possibility to connect with the values of Love, Hope and Siblinghood in the face of hate, despair and separation.

Given our resources, we will be supporting 3 displacement centers towards Beirut in: Forn El Chebbak, Basta and Verdun. The identified needs by the centers consist of food rations for families, school supplies for displaced children learning remotely, and medication for persons who are chronically ill. As needs shift dynamically based on the situation, we will also be adapting our support accordingly.

We have set an initial target of 3,000 € to launch our effort. 

We will celebrate any gift of support, no matter how small or big, and we commit to delivering it with Love and Tenderness.
